Meach Cove Capital was inspired by the vision and achievements of Boston Scientific co-founder John Abele. John's ability to rethink how medicine and surgery were performed fundamentally changed medical outcomes for millions. John maintains a hands-on desire to drive change in many challenges facing humanity, including food and agriculture.

John owns Meach Cove Farms, in Shelburne, Vermont – a 1,000-acre certified organic farm with soybeans, organic hay, wheat, rye, corn, three acres of wine grapes, and 350 acres of productive woodland. Onsite, his crew also works on identifying alternatives to petroleum fuel such as biomass generated on the farm. He maintains a substantial solar array that reduces dependence on fossil fuels by creating clean, renewable energy that is also shared with the larger community.
